“Come and take it” is an old time saying. And when I say old time, I really mean old time. It was known to be used by the Spartans as a last act of defiance against the Persians, who had demanded their surrender.

Texas made it famous in their Revolution where they put it on a flag and everything. It’s sort of a motto now.
