One of Detroit's symbols, many only know it as that statue they put jerseys of their favorite teams on when they make the playoffs. Or there are others that think it's some yoga because he's sitting in the lotus position.

But no.  It's the Spirit of Detroit, commissioned in 1955, and dedicated in 1958.  We cut this sign from mild steel a little thinner than 1/8 inch.
