We cut this piece from mild steel that is about 1/8-inch-thick. After we do our fancy bending to it, we swirl grind it to give it a cool look.

Then we powder coat it with either clear, candy red, candy blue, candy purple, candy green, candy copper or textured black. The candy colors are translucent and allow you to see through the color to the metal surface.
