In a word, this 1932 Ford grille insert is a SCREAMER! This uniquely styled grille with three columns of skull-kabobs was designed and fabricated from the nightmares of your friendly neighborhood metalworkers at the Speedcult compound in Detroit, Michigan. The metal thickness on this grill is almost 3/16" thick. THIS IS NOT SHEET METAL! We make it slightly oversized, (approx. 1/16"-1/8"), so you can custom grind/sand the fit to hug the innerds of your grille shell. We do this because the shells DO vary in size and shape that much. Included with the Grille are four undrilled "weld on" mounting tabs that can be welded to either the exterior or interior of the grille depending on your preference of a flush mount (like a stock grille) or a deepset mount. This grille is shipped sanded clean, ready for final prep, and if you know us, that means we let it rust. The Brookville 1932 Ford style grille shell you see in one of the pictures is not included. Speedcult can also produce the custom grille for your rat rod that until now may've only exist in your twisted, rusty mind. We can work from sketches, prints or photos, to make custom parts for you fast! And of course, very cool. Other year/make grilles can be made although we may need a full size template of the shape and outermost dimensions/clearances/bow/ etc..., since we do not own every grill shell known to man for sizing info. Most of Speedcult's metal work comes with a high gloss clear powdercoated finish. This finish is super durable and it also helps to protect the metal from rust and other enviromental wraths.
We also have translucent high gloss color tints available for items. Click here for sample. The colors shown are only approximations of what your item might look like upon delivery. The color you see at our site depends upont the internet browser and computer monitor you use. So don't go trying to match your drapes to the color you see on the screen.
